Sustainable Development Goals

“Embrace the Future, Embrace Sustainability!” RIS Gandhinagar was bustling with the esteemed guests and our beloved parents who were all set to witness the week long hardwork of our students and teachers.

We at RIS , believe in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow and fostering a deep understanding of global challenges.
Today we proudly presented our “School Edubition-2023” showcasing the United Nations “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. The aim was to spread awareness and sensitize each and every person, who attended the Edubition, for the same.
The program was conducted with two panel of guests from various walks of our society which included Armed forces, Medical services, Educational research, School and Universities, Indian police services, Social enterprise, Social services and Real estate(list attached).

The flow started with welcoming of our guest by students followed by Panel Meeting by our school management authorities.
The inaugural program started with auspicious Lighting of lamp by dignified guests and felicitation of the guests. A speech by our honourable Principal which created ripples of enthusiasm and infused energy in everyone. This was followed by a song by grade 5 students. A nukkad natak was presented by grade 7 students to introduce the theme of our Edubition on 17 SDGs which was enhanced with dance performance by grade 6.

The guests and parents then visited the classes where the students were presenting the various goals of SDGs. The guests as well as parents listened and interacted with the students, asked them questions. They all were amazed by the work, the models prepared and the confident presentation by our young rangolians.
We hope this Edubition has paved a way for a positive impact together.
